Carter named to the All-Jayhawk Squad

Garden City, KS-Broncbuster sophomore guard Dayshawna Carter was named to the All-Jayhawk Conference second team. 

Carter, who committed to the University of Missouri-Kansas City at the beginning of the season, finished third in the conference in scoring at 19.2 points per game. She scored a season-high 33 points on opening night vs. Lamar and did it again vs. Northwest Tech on Feb. 11. She posted double figures in 30 games and scored 20 or more 14 times.  

Carter shot 41 percent from the field on the season, 35 percent from 3 and 74 percent from the line. She tallied a season-best eight rebounds vs. Independence on Jan. 28.
