Men’s Golf Finishes Ninth at Farmers Insurance Sam Proal Invite in Colorado

Dodge City men’s golf competed in their third tournament of the fall season and finished ninth as a team at the Farmers Insurance Sam Proal Invite in Pueblo, Colorado.

The Conquistadors finished with a +17 three-round score of 881 to finish ninth place at the tournament with their lowest round coming in the second round with a 292.

Leading the way for the Conqs individually was the play of Supakit Seelanagae who finished tied for 12th with a -1 score of 215 over 54-holes. Brent Reintjes was one stroke behind finishing with an even-par over the tournament (216) and tied for 16th place.

Cole Streck carded a +7 score of 223 to finish tied for 32nd, while Cooper Scheck tied for 44th with a +11 score of 227. Austin Goodrum recorded a score of 235 (+19) to finish tied for 54th, while Thanaphon Suwannapratheep also competed posting rounds of 73 and 71 in second the third round after having to forfeit his first-round score.

Conqs will be back in action on September 27th-28th at the NJCAA National Championship Preview tournament in Newton, Kansas at Sand Creek Station golf course.
