Interactive puppet theater shows that are free and open to the public will soon take place monthly at Garden City Community College, courtesy of Brett Crandall Studios.  The community is welcome to attend the multiple performance dates of Brett Crandall’s Play Practice with a show lineup including Tarzan, Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, and more.

The first show will take place on August 22, 26, 27 and continue through May 2023.  The fall dates and times are listed below, and the spring dates will be announced soon.  Each show will be held inside the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Auditorium on the GCCC Campus (*the December 3rd show will be located in the Endowment Room inside Beth Tedrow Student Center).

These performances are sponsored by a grant acquired by the GCCC Endowment Association from the Western Kansas Community Foundation (WKCF). The WKCF began in 1996 and has been working ever since to connect great programs and charities with donors who care. Representing the broadest charitable interests of its donors, WKCF seeks to improve all aspects of the quality of life in the 15 counties of southwest Kansas. The mission of WKCF is “Enriching Western Kansas life through philanthropy, leadership and collaboration.”
