Rodeo Has Some Solid Performances at Southeastern Oklahoma State University NIRA Rodeo

Dodge City rodeo competed most recently at the Southeastern Oklahoma State University NIRA rodeo event and came away with some solid scoring performances.
 
The women’s team would finish ninth as a team behind 45 total points helping secure those points was the performance of Katherine Walker who placed fifth in breakaway roping, as she split 3/4th in the long round.
 
On the men’s side of competition Andrew Class earned a seventh-place finish in the saddle bronc riding competition with a time/score of 61 and was sixth in the long round. Matt Dockendorf in action in the bare back riding competition and would split 7/8th in the long round.
 
The fall season for the Conquistador rodeo team will continue with competition on October 13th-15th at Oklahoma State University and then wrap up in the fall at Northwestern Oklahoma State University on October 27th-29th.
