Dr. Roger Marshall, U.S. Senator from Kansas, shared updates on social media regarding his recent visit to Ashland and praised local first responders as the community faces a significant fire emergency.

On February 18, 2026, Dr. Marshall posted, “Last night, my team and I traveled to Ashland to deliver water and thank first responders for their work protecting homes, ranches, and livestock. This fire is serious and causing significant damage. If you’re in the area, stay alert and follow the guidance of local authorities.” The same day, he added another message: “God bless our first responders “

The following day, Dr. Marshall congratulated state lawmakers with a post stating: “Congratulations to the Kansas Legislature on this important win for our state. Grateful for the strong leadership of Senate President Ty Masterson, Speaker Dan Hawkins, and the entire Legislature for standing up to radical left gender ideology, and delivering commonsense”
