Dodge City rodeo competed most recently at the Southeastern Oklahoma State University NIRA rodeo event and came away with some solid scoring performances.
The women's team would finish ninth as a team behind 45 total points helping secure those points was the performance of Katherine Walker who placed fifth in breakaway roping, as she split 3/4th in the long round.
On the men's side of competition Andrew Class earned a seventh-place finish in the saddle bronc riding competition with a time/score of 61 and was sixth in the long round. Matt Dockendorf in action in the bare back riding competition and would split 7/8th in the long round.
The fall season for the Conquistador rodeo team will continue with competition on October 13th-15th at Oklahoma State University and then wrap up in the fall at Northwestern Oklahoma State University on October 27th-29th.
