Garden City Community College received a $25,000 donation from Dream First Bank in the form of a tax credit on October 3, 2022. GCCC is selling Kansas Department of Revenue tax credits to be used for the ongoing STEM Success Center project, a 10,000 square feet addition to the Warren Fouse Science and Math building for learning space dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Dream First Bank (formerly First National Bank of Syracuse) has been a supporter of GCCC for many years through their Broncbuster Athletic Association (BAA) membership and by providing ATM machines on campus. Additionally, Dream First Bank offers annual summer internships for high school and college students at each of their six locations. Garden City Community College is appreciative of the continued support and partnership with Dream First Bank. For information on available tax credits, contact Scott Kedrowski at scott.kedrowski@gcccks.edu or 620-276-9572.
