Women's Cross Country Ranked 11th in Latest USTFCCCA Rankings

Dodge City women's cross country checks in at #11 in the latest NJCAA Division I rankings released by the USTFCCCA for the national coaches poll.

The ladies are joined by several other KJCCC schools in the rankings including Hutchinson at #3, Cloud County at #5, Butler at #9, Garden City at #13, Fort Scott at #16, and Neosho County at #18.

The Conquistadors most recently finished third at the Ollie Isom Invite hosted by Butler finishing behind only Hutchinson and Cloud County, while beating Butler, who is ranked head of the Conqs in the polls, for the second time this season. The Conqs won the Carol Swenson Invite at McPherson earlier this season and finished second at the Emporia State Invite and Firestarter Classic at Allen CC while opening the season with a fifth-place finish at the Terry Masterson Twilight Classic.

Conqs cross country teams are set to compete at the Region VI Championships on October 28th in Hutchinson as they look for a strong finish before Nationals on November 12th in Tallahassee, Florida.
