Dodge City women's soccer wrapped up the regular season at home taking on Cowley and fell 2-0 in the regular season finale.
The Conquistadors loss moved them to 5-9-1 on the season as they now turn their attention to postseason play.
The Conqs would see the Tigers of Cowley take control of the match early controlling the pace and possession throughout the contest. In the eighth minute of the match Cowley took the lead and two-minutes later added another goal to make it 2-0. Conqs trailed 2-0 entering halftime and were unable to overcome the deficit as Cowley continued to control the game leading to the 2-0 decision in favor for the Tigers.
In the loss the Conqs were outshot 9-4 as Cowley controlled the contest pace and possession.
Conqs continue their season on Saturday, October 29th at 1:00 pm in the first round of the Midwest District playoffs against #5 Butler as they will play the Grizzles in El Dorado.
