Tigers Move into Top 25, Henry and Lindsey Ranked Individually | Fort Hays State University

The Fort Hays State wrestling team moved into the Top 25 of the NWCA Division II team rankings for the first time this season in the most recent poll released Friday (Dec. 23). The Tigers propelled from the receiving votes section all the way up to a tie for 14th in the latest poll.

Tereus Henry rose one spot from fourth to third in the 197 pound individual rankings. Henry has an 18-2 record so far this season after finishing as the runner-up at the 43rd Midwest Classic last weekend with his only loss coming in a 2-1 decision to top-ranked Dalton Abney of Central Oklahoma. Henry has claimed two individual tournament championships so far this season.

Cade Lindsey made his first appearance in the individual rankings this season ranking sixth at 174 pounds. Lindsey finished in third place at the Midwest Classic last weekend finishing 7-1 and pinning two ranked wrestlers. His only loss was to the eventual champion, third-ranked Max Bruss from the University of Mary. He has an overall record of 23-4 so far this season.
