Men's Basketball Up Two Spots to #13 in Latest NJCAA DI Rankings

Dodge City men's basketball for the second straight year lay claim to a conference championship as they captured at least a share of the KJCCC title behind a 2-0 week last week.

The Conquistadors are now 22-7 on the season and 18-5 in KJCCC action and move back up the NJCAA Division I rankings this week coming in at #13, up two spots. The ranking marks the 13th straight week in the polls for the Conqs.

Three other KJCCC schools continue to find themselves in the Top 25 alongside the Conqs as all three also move up in the rankings this week, also. Coffeyville is up two spots to #17, while Barton jumps three spots to #20, and Garden City comes in at #23 up one spot.

Offensively the Conqs are led by five double-figure scorers as they score 84.3 points per game on the season while shooting 44.9% from the field. The Conqs have totaled 2,444 total points which rank 23rd in the nation and are hoisting up 68.3 field goal attempts per game (19th in the nation). Conqs continue to get to the free throw line averaging 24.6 attempts per game (16th in the nation) and making 16.1 per game.
