How much did coaches earn in 2022 on average working at the only institution paying coaches in Seward County?

Seward County’s seven coaches earned an average salary of $41,589 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the 17th lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Kansas post-secondary schools during 2022.

Seward County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $42,010 on average in Seward County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $41,274.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
