Tracey Mann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 1st district, shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets on March 12, 2025. Mann has been serving in Congress since replacing Roger Marshall in 2021.
In one of his posts from that day, Mann expressed skepticism about regulations and legislation, stating "Time has taught us, even if well intentioned, more regulations and burdensome legislation are almost never the answer."
Later that day, Mann shared his experience meeting with students from the University of Kansas Student Senate at the U.S. Capitol. He commented on the importance of student leadership by saying "I always enjoy meeting with student leaders and hearing about their leadership experiences on their college campuses. Thank you, @KUSenate, for all you do!"
Mann also addressed environmental policy concerns by referencing a past Supreme Court decision regarding the Clean Water Act. He remarked that "Nearly two years ago, the Supreme Court made it clear that President Biden’s EPA abused the Clean Water Act to enact his overreaching regulatory agenda." Mann emphasized support for America's agricultural community as "the original conservationists."
