Tracey Mann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 1st district, has been vocal on social media about recent legislative matters. He shared updates and personal perspectives through a series of tweets in early April 2025.
On April 10, Mann expressed his support for a budget resolution proposed by the House GOP. He shared the key features of the proposal, highlighting how it "lowers taxes, finds savings for the American taxpayer, finishes the border wall, secures our border, invests in & bolsters our national defense, and unleashes American energy dominance". Mann emphatically stated his vote in favor of the resolution and anticipates further collaborative work.
Later the same day, Mann discussed the SAVE Act, focusing on voting requirements. He mentioned that while "83% of Americans support requiring proof of citizenship to vote," a large number of Democrats opposed the act's measures aiming at election integrity. Mann maintains that non-citizens should not have the right to vote in U.S. elections.
On April 11, Mann provided information on agricultural trade initiatives. He shared the announcement by the USDA about the opening of applications for several agricultural trade programs, namely the Market Access Program (MAP), Foreign Market Development (FMD) Program, Technical Assistance for Specialty Crops (TASC), and the Emerging Markets Program (EMP) according to Mann’s tweet "Last week, USDA announced that applications are open for four key agricultural trade promotion programs".
Tracey Mann has served in Congress since 2021, taking over the position from Roger Marshall. Born in 1976 in Quinter, Kansas, Mann resides in Salina and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University, earned in 2000.
