Tracey Mann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 1st district since 2021, shared his views on social and political matters through a series of tweets on May 1, 2025. Mann, who succeeded former Congress member Roger Marshall, discussed topics ranging from the economic impact of environmental policies to the importance of prayer.

In a tweet posted on May 1, 2025, Mann criticized President Biden's environmental policies stating "President Biden’s Green New Scam handcuffed rural America and threatened our livelihoods all for the sake of placating the far left." He highlighted his efforts during a @TransportGOP markup session to save taxpayers nearly $4 billion by pushing back against these policies.

Reflecting on the National Day of Prayer, Mann encouraged public participation in prayer on May 1, 2025, emphasizing the inspiration from historical figures: "On this National Day of Prayer, I hope you’ll join me in praying for our nation." He expressed his admiration for George Washington’s 1783 prayer, hoping for continual national commitment to prayer for the protection of the country.

Lastly, on the same day, Mann addressed the challenges faced by Kansas due to California’s environmental mandates, posting "California’s Green New Deal-style mandates don’t work for Kansas." He criticized the ban on gas-powered cars and compulsory use of electric trucks as policies that harm rural Americans and advocated for a diversified energy strategy.

Tracey Mann was born in Quinter, Kansas, in 1976 and graduated from Kansas State University with a BS in 2000. He currently resides in Salina and is actively engaged in legislative matters impacting his constituents in Kansas' 1st district.
