Tracey Mann, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 1st district since 2021, has recently expressed his views on various topics via social media. Born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976 and a graduate of Kansas State University with a BS degree in 2000, Mann resides in Salina.
On May 8, 2025, Mann tweeted about his meeting with Fort Hays State University, Washburn University, and Salina Regional Health Center to discuss workforce development and training future leaders. He emphasized the importance of modern agriculture programs, healthcare initiatives, and skilled trades for building strong communities across Kansas.
The following day, May 9, 2025, Mann shared his perspective on energy policies. He criticized the Green New Deal policies as ineffective for Middle America and advocated for an "all-of-the-above" energy strategy that utilizes local resources to promote American energy dominance. He mentioned ongoing efforts by House Republicans and the President to roll back regulations.
Later on May 9th, he addressed tax policy concerns by highlighting the potential impact of failing to extend the 2017 tax cuts. Mann warned that small businesses could face significant tax hikes if these cuts are not made permanent. He affirmed that House Republicans are working diligently to support small businesses by making President Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent.
