Peyton Walters, former Garden City Senior High School standout, played on Sunday, March 9 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Sunday, March 9, former Garden City Senior High School standout Peyton Walters’ current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Missouri State Bears.

The game took place at Eck Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bears this season.

The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6:05 p.m. at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park against Nebraska Cornhuskers.
