Tracey Mann, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 1st district, shared insights on his recent activities and discussions through a series of tweets on June 6, 2025.
In one post, Mann highlighted his meeting with Kansas USDA Rural Development State Director Gimmie Jo Jansonius. "I met with Kansas @usdaRD State Director Gimmie Jo Jansonius to talk about strengthening rural communities across Kansas," he wrote. He noted Jansonius' background as a sixth-generation rancher and agriculture leader and emphasized their discussion on her priorities in her new role.
In another tweet, Mann contrasted the current administration's achievements with those of the previous administration. He stated: "Under the previous Administration: 40-year high inflation Record-high gas and grocery prices Worst border crisis in American history Under @POTUS: Secure Borders Lower inflation and decreasing prices Rising consumer confidence."
Additionally, Mann addressed agricultural concerns by meeting with members of the Kansas Livestock Association. In his tweet, he mentioned that "as the number one cattle-producing district in the nation, the Big First depends on sound tax policy, a strong Farm Bill, and expanded market access to maintain its leadership in beef production." This underscores ongoing efforts to support and enhance local agricultural industries.
Tracey Mann has been serving as a congressman since replacing Roger Marshall in 2021. Born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976, Mann is now based in Salina and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University.
