Dr. Roger Marshall, U.S. Senator from Kansas, posted a series of statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account between September 21 and 23, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political negotiations in Congress to public health concerns and the memorial of a conservative figure.

On September 21, Dr. Marshall paid tribute to Charlie Kirk following his passing. In his post, he stated: "Charlie Kirk’s flame burns eternal in our hearts! As we humble ourselves before God today as thousands gather at his memorial, let’s heed 2 Chronicles 7:14—turn from wickedness, pray, and watch Him heal our land. Charlie was a modern day prophet, a patriot, and now a Martyr."

The following day, on September 22, Dr. Marshall commented on ongoing legislative negotiations in Congress concerning spending bills. He wrote: "Wrong. Republicans have been negotiating. We have also passed 87% of our spending bills through Committees with bipartisan support, and @SenSchumer refuses to let votes happen on the floor. It takes 60 votes to get any spending bill passed in the Senate — this will be a Schumer https://t.co/0TD3gI8kOd" The reference to "Schumer" pertains to Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, who serves as the Senate Majority Leader.

On September 23, Dr. Marshall addressed rising autism rates in the United States by posting: "Autism rates in America are alarming: 1 in 31 children now, up 5x since 2000. It’s about time we launched an NIH Autism Data Science Initiative (ADSI) to dig deep into causes and solutions. I’m extremely grateful to President @realDonaldTrump and @SecKennedy for prioritizing this" According to recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), autism prevalence among American children has increased significantly over the past two decades.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is a federal agency responsible for medical research initiatives.

Dr. Roger Marshall has previously focused on healthcare issues during his tenure in both the House of Representatives and Senate.
