Tracey Mann, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 1st district, shared insights on recent legislative efforts and observances via social media. Mann, who succeeded Roger Marshall in 2021, continues to advocate for policies impacting his constituents.
On May 16, 2025, Tracey Mann stated that the “Our @HouseAgGOP portion of the reconciliation bill takes us one step closer to giving @POTUS the one big, beautiful bill he asked for.” He emphasized that this legislative action prevented a $2,200 tax increase for Kansas families while strengthening the farm safety net and saving taxpayers $290 billion through budget cuts.
In another post on May 16, Mann recognized National Police Week by expressing gratitude towards law enforcement officials. He wrote: “This National Police Week, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and commitment of our nation’s law enforcement officials.” Mann thanked them for their service and dedication to communities across the nation.
Later that day, Mann highlighted agricultural issues pertinent to his district. He asserted that “Farmers and ranchers in the Big First need certainty, not more red tape.” He discussed how the House Agriculture GOP’s budget bill invests in crop insurance and updates reference prices while strengthening export promotion programs. Tracey Mann was born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976 and now resides in Salina. A graduate of Kansas State University with a BS degree earned in 2000, he has been serving as a U.S. Congressman since 2021.
