Tracey Mann, who represents Kansas’ 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently shared several updates on his social media platform. Via a series of posts, Mann highlighted opportunities and developments impacting both local and national spheres.

On April 28, 2025, Mann announced that applications are open for four key agricultural trade promotion programs offered by the USDA. These include the Market Access Program (MAP), Foreign Market Development (FMD) Program, Technical Assistance for Specialty Crops (TASC), and the Emerging Markets Program (EMP). These initiatives aim to support farmers by opening avenues for global trade.

Later, on April 29, 2025, Mann expressed his pleasure in meeting with Chancellor Girod and other leaders from the University of Kansas on Capitol Hill. He highlighted his appreciation for the university’s contributions to educating Kansans and preparing future leaders of the state.

On the same day, Mann reflected on President Trump’s impact in his first 100 days. Mann pointed to several achievements, including a 95% reduction in border crossings from the previous year, a $160 billion reduction in federal waste, fraud, and abuse, and the revitalization of American energy as fulfilling Trump’s promise to usher in a “Golden Age of America.”

Tracey Mann, a native of Quinter, Kansas, resides in Salina and is an alumnus of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science obtained in 2000.
