Two days later, on January 25, 2025, Mann addressed matters of national security and support for military personnel. He emphasized the importance of defending the homeland as part of achieving peace through strength under President Trump’s vision. He also conveyed his personal thoughts and prayers for Kansas troops deployed to the southern border by saying: “Accomplishing President Trump’s mission of peace through strength starts with defending our homeland.
