On April 30, 2025, Mann expressed his opposition to California’s zero-emission truck mandate, stating its potential negative impact on agriculture and trucking in Kansas. Mann declared, “California’s zero-emission truck mandate would ban manufacturers from selling trucks with any emissions. This overreaching mandate will crush agriculture and trucking in Kansas and only further drive up costs for everyday Americans.” He affirmed his stance by voting in favor of H.J. Res. 87 to halt the mandate.
Later the same day, Mann highlighted actions taken by the TransportGOP to support President Trump’s agenda. He noted on April 30, 2025, “Today, @TransportGOP did our part to advance @POTUS’ agenda, save taxpayers more than $3.5 billion, and invest in our national security.” Mann expressed optimism about passing a significant bill for Trump to sign into law, emphasizing aims to fortify national security and maintain fiscal responsibility.
Further on May 1, 2025, Mann addressed the role of border security, highlighting investments made by TransportGOP in the U.S. Coast Guard. He tweeted, “Border security is national security, and the @USCG plays a key role in protecting that security.” Citing these investments as a means to advance Trump’s mission, Mann emphasized their importance in equipping service members to safeguard national borders.
