The City of Dodge City Water Watch that was issued on June 17, 2022, is lifted effective Friday, July 1. Following the Water Conservation Plan and Ordinance No. 3583, a water watch is terminated when the triggering events have ceased to exist.  

“Currently, water tower levels are back to normal,” said Director of Public Works Corey Keller. “Additionally,  the five-day average use flows below 10.75 million gallons per day. These were the two criteria that triggered us to issue the watch.”

The City of Dodge City encourages residents to continue water conservation efforts, where able, to ensure water usage stays below the five-day average of 10.75 million gallons per day.  

City administration and staff would like to thank residents and businesses that helped conserve during the Water Watch.

Término el aviso de Conservación de Agua

El Aviso de Conservación de Agua de la Ciudad de Dodge City que se emitió el 17 de junio de 2022, este término a partir del viernes 1 de julio. Siguiendo el Plan de Conservación del Agua y la Ordenanza No. 3583, una vigilancia de agua se termina cuando los eventos desencadenantes han dejado de existir.  

“Actualmente, los niveles de las torres de agua han vuelto a la normalidad”, dijo el Director de Obras Públicas Corey Keller.  “Además,  el uso promedio de cinco días fluye por debajo de 10.75 millones de galones por día.  Estos fueron los dos criterios que nos impulsaron a emitir el reloj”.

La Ciudad de Dodge City les recomienda a los residentes a continuar los esfuerzos de conservación del agua, siempre que sea posible, para garantizar que el uso del agua se mantenga por debajo del promedio de cinco días de 10.75 millones de galones por día.  

La administración y el personal de la ciudad desean agradecer alos residentes y a las empresas que ayudaron a conservar durante la Vigilancia del Agua.
